Welcome to the official website for the 2004 World Junior Figure Skating Championships.

The World Junior Figure Skating Championships 2004 will be held in The Hague, The Netherlands, between February 29th and March the 7th 2004.
Ando wins gold medal

Japanese Miki Ando became World Champion on saturday. Kimmie MEISSNER and Katy TAYLOR were second and third.

Miki Ando from Japan is leading in the ladies competition after the short program. Second and third in the competition are Katy TAYLOR and Kimmie MEISSNER from the USA.

In the dance competition Elena ROMANOVSKAYA / Alexander GRACHEV from Russia won the original dance.
Second in the competiton were Nora HOFFMANN / Attila ELEK Hungary.

Natalia Shestakova/Pavel Lebedev of Russia grabbed the lead ahead of  Canadians Jessica Dube/Bryce Davison and their teammates Maria Mukhortova/Maxim Trankov.

The Venue

The ice rink De Uithof was founded over 25 years ago. After a major enlargement 3 years ago it is a Sport Center now for skating, skiing, climbing and carting. A health club is also available.
